The Digestive System Cancer Center of the Korea Cancer Center Hospital is composed of different centers that specialize in the treatment of stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, liver cancer and biliary tract/pancreatic cancer center.
To enable accurate and effective treatment, each center has implements a systematic joint-diagnosis system made possible by top specialists in gastroenterology, digestive surgery, hemato-oncology, radiation oncology, imagery, pathology and anesthesiology. The centers' established system has received a Class 1 rating in Korea's cancer surgical mortality rate assessment proving its capability and excellence through high-quality, safe treatment.
In addition, the center offers preliminary consultations to confirm a surgery date within one week of the treatments based on the day-to-day progress made with the treatment provided on each day. Such one-stop service of the center contributes to the fastest and most comfortable patient-oriented diagnosis system.
